This Spring I was commissioned by Downtown Project to take over an entire building on the corner on Fremont and 8th St in the new bustling area of East Fremont. The building used to be an old gas station in the 1930s and lastly a Burrito Stand!

So, we are still calling it the Burrito Stand, but what will soon be inside (and outside!) will be something entirely new. I have brought on my friend and collaborator whom I worked with at Blue Man Group, Christopher Kachurak, to help with sculptural elements and create an interactive art installation that will go from the inside out. I have almost completed the mural which wraps around the entire building. But for now, here is a picture of the West-facing wall I have painted, which is now complete…and a sneak peak at me painting the East-facing wall below. Updates coming soon!!
